Paul is a believer in green values: “It doesn’t make sense to cut down a tree to install a satellite TV dish—and then need air conditioning because the shade tree has been removed”.

Paul must have been born with an environmental gene as it has always been part of his life. His active participation in green issues goes back over twenty five years to being a member and eventually director of the CEED Centre (Community Education on Environment and Development) and sitting on the local board of “Friends of the Environment Foundation” sponsored by TD Bank.

After many years working for General Contractors and developers Paul began looking for a more fulfilling way to apply his green vision and construction experience. This combination of practical and technical experience combined with many years working with Architects and Engineers, has provided Paul with the background to initiate MyHaven GreenVision Homes—tailored to the needs of Architects, Interior Designers and discerning customers.

Paul has been the principal of MyHaven GreenVision Homes for 9 fulfilling years. He has developed a planning and construction process which has been perfected over the years. It’s Paul’s proprietary green construction management process, proudly called “Enviro–Logic™”.

Paul has a lifetime of experience in all aspects of the development and construction process and has held positions as Construction Manager, Project Manager and Site Superintendent. Paul has successfully managed projects ranging from small renovations to $10 million plus multi unit residential projects. Paul is able to effectively steer projects from budget development through construction and post occupancy customer care.

Paul earned his Diploma of Building Engineering Technology at BCIT. He’s taken workshops, on EnergySTAR for New Homes, Green House certified homes, LEED and Air sealing.

Paul sits on the green renovators committee through BILD. He and his staff stay current on new technology and materials by attending industry–led forums and educational seminars on a regular basis.

MyHaven Green Vision Homes is a member of BILD, Renomark, OHBA, CHBA, CaGBC and is soon to become LEED certified. The office is BullFrog Powered, utilizes digital data management and has a culture of the 3 R’s. Under Paul’s leadership, MyHaven GreenVision Homes won the BILD award for design and construction of best renovation over $300,000.

Jeff Antilla

Jeff began his construction career working under his master craftsman father. Having been in the trade since age 13, Jeff has had the opportunity to gain varied experience on all manner of projects.

Jeff attended Ryerson University where he received a B.A. in Architectural Science. Jeff has a hands–on management style he uses to manage the technology, materials and people required for each MyHaven GreenVision Homes project.

Jeff has been instrumental in managing change for the firm, gently introducing green management and construction principles to the day–to–day operations, in tandem with Paul Caverly.

Jeff’s primary roll encompasses Estimator and Project manager. Jeff’s uncompromising attention to detail and communication skills ensures Architects and customers receive the documentation and information they need to make informed decisions on budgets and quality assurance.

Jeff has successfully completed the EnergySTAR for homes and ICF workshop training, which brings green intelligence to the construction process. Jeff has been instrumental in forming the MyHaven GreenVision Enviro–Logic™ standard, just one part of the MyHaven proprietary Enviro–Logic™ 37–Step green construction management process available to Toronto–area Architects and homeowners.

Brenda De Blasi

Brenda helps keep the MyHaven GreenVision Homes business engine fine–tuned and ready for action. Brenda’s expert vigilance keeps the green in the GreenVision — which supports our staff in their green education goals.

Brenda supports us all at MyHaven GreenVision Homes in every aspect of our business from office management to construction accounting and documentation.

She utilizes industry standard progress draw statements making it easy for our partner Architects to process on–going work and our customers to understand project progress.

Brenda provides current construction cost accounting for our construction management team, provides accurate cash flow reports on a timely basis and manages our sub–contractor, supplier accounting and all required documentation. She’s also responsible for payroll and reporting to government agencies.
